PET plastic is the abbreviation of English Polyethylene terephthalate, referred to as PET or PETP. Mainly includes polyethylene terephthalate PET and polybutylene terephthalate PBT. Polyethylene terephthalate is also commonly known as polyester resin. It is a polycondensate of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, together with PBT, collectively referred to as thermoplastic polyester, or saturated polyester. Structural features

The molecular structure of PET plastics is highly symmetrical and has a certain degree of crystal orientation. Therefore, it has high film-forming properties and adult properties. PET plastics have good optical properties and weather resistance, and amorphous PET plastics have good optical transparency. In addition, PET plastics have excellent abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, and electrical insulation. Bottles made of PET have been widely used due to their high strength, good transparency, non-toxicity, anti-infiltration, light weight, and high production efficiency. Features include:
1. Heat distortion temperature and long-term use temperature are the highest among thermoplastic general engineering plastics;

2, because of high heat resistance, enhanced PET dipping in the solder bath at 250 °C for 10s, almost no deformation and discoloration, especially suitable for the preparation of soldering of electronic and electrical parts;

3, bending strength 200MPa, elastic modulus up to 4000MPa, creep resistance and fatigue resistance is also very good, high surface hardness, mechanical properties and thermosetting plastics are similar;

4. Since the ethylene glycol used in the production of PET is almost half as cheap as the butylene glycol used in the production of PBT, the price of PET resin and reinforced PET are the lowest among engineering plastics, and it has a very high price/performance ratio.
